“A great singer needs more than technique — your voice should carry emotion, meaning, and you.”
Alicia is a trained vocalist who achieved Grade 8 in Singing — the result of years of dedicated vocal training and musicianship. She has performed in church and live settings, building the confidence, stage presence and expression that only come from real time in front of an audience.
Her teaching is grounded in solid vocal technique — breath control, pitch, tone and diction — but she believes a great singer needs more than mechanics. For Alicia, singing is communication: music should carry emotion, meaning and personality, and she helps every student find and use their own voice as a form of self-expression.
Patient, encouraging and empathetic, she knows singing can feel vulnerable — so her lessons are a supportive space where you can explore, make mistakes and grow in both ability and confidence. She’s observant and detail-oriented, adapting her approach to how each person learns and what they want to sing.
